Watch Need for Speed Movie Trailer [Video]

Need For Speed

Racing and sports car junkies have something to look forward to at the theaters — a Need for Speed movie. Featured below is a trailer for you to salivate over.

The movie stars Breaking Bad lead Aaron Paul. In it, Paul’s character (Tobey), a street racer who was framed by a wealthy business associate, joins a cross country race with the sole goal of getting revenge. Unbeknownst to him, his ex-partner places a large bounty on his head as the race begins.

In the short video, Paul delivers a monologue as scenes of sports cars and police chases are shown:

“They took everything from me. I do not fear, for you are with me. All those who defied me shall be ashamed and disgraced. Those who wage war against me shall perish. I will find strength, find guidance, and I will triumph.”

Directed by Scott Waugh and co-starring Imogen Poots, Dakota Johnson and Michael Keaton, Need For Speed will hit theaters on March 14, 2014.

Guillermo del Toro Says Justice League Dark is not Cancelled

Justice League Dark Constantine

Justice League Dark has not been cancelled as previously rumored. According to a new report, the movie, which features a team consisting of many supernatural characters from DC Comics, is still in the works.

Some critics took the announcement of the upcoming John Constantine (a key character in Justice League Dark) TV series as evidence that the movie had been canned, but Guillermo del Toro says hogwash to the false rumors about his pet project.

“We talked about it at DC and Warners, and I feel confident that the two properties can exist at the same time,” he said in an interview with IGN. “I think that DC is trying to create a great universe of characters, and expand it and make it clear to the audience that it’s a landscape of characters, and not just one that’s dependent on one or two characters.”

While interest in Justice League Dark is still there, the movie may not be a priority for DC and Warner Bro., as the two studios have their hands full with a Commissioner Gordon series and a potential Arrow spin-off featuring the Flash. According to del Toro, there is currently no full script and writing continues.
