With the binge watching of Daredevil Season 2 now complete, desperation for a season three rumor fix has set in for millions of fans around the world. Well, we have a doozy: Charlie Cox is already thinking about making Bullseye Matt Murdock’s next adversary.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Cox stated that an encounter between the two comic book characters is inevitable in Netflix’s successful TV show:
“If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can’t imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn’t show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point.”
It’s just an idea he is entertaining, so nothing is set in stone:
“Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there’s such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic. When you read the comics it’s etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff.”
Bullseye’s history in the comics is bleak to say the least, so let’s hope Cox deviates a bit from it. His introduction into the Daredevil series has been hinted in several instances, including an Easter egg tucked away in Daredevil season one and rumors of Jason Statham auditioning for the part.
Would Bullseye be an interesting villain in Daredevil<, possibly one as good as David Tennant’s Kilgrave (Purple Man)? Let us know in the comments below, and enjoy Season 2.
Game of Thrones Season 7 Teaser Trailer Makes Wait Painful
If you’re like me, the thought of Game of Thrones Season 7 being a long way off (it’s been delayed, you know) is beyond saddening, especially with the way Season 6 ended. However, knowing that people are working hard to ensure top-notch quality makes the wait a little less painful.
At San Diego Comic Con, HBO unveiled a nice little teaser providing a behind-the-scenes look at Season 7’s development, taking us to most of the corners of the Seven Kingdoms and showing off some general set shenanigans.
It’s made very apparent that Queen Cersei’s reign will be a big highlight of the show, but you probably already knew that…
Game of Thrones Season 7 airs in Summer 2017.
Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer Shows Negan’s New World, Tigers
One of the highlight of Comic Con San Diego was the release of The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer, and it didn’t fail to impress.
The trailer is gory, but it didn’t reveal who Negan ended up killing. Instead, it reacquaints us with the show’s beloved gang, using soft lighting to deliver the “feels”.
The closest we come to finding out who dies is their blood dripping from Negan’s baseball bat, and we’d be amazed if anyone can make the identification from that alone.
By far the biggest “OH MY GOD!” moment arrive in the second half, where the Saviors continue to make their evil known, and it seems quite a few of them aren’t particularly fond of their murderous leader.
We also get to see King Ezekiel, one of the more popular characters in the comic and the leader of a self-sustaining community known as the Kingdom. He has a pet tiger.
Watch The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer and let us know what you think…
The action begins in October 2016.
Brienne’s Surprising Backstory Revealed in Game of Thrones
With Game of Thrones Season 6 now running in high gear, shedding some light on some long standing mysteries, George R.R. Martin made an appearance at Balticon to read an extract from his forthcoming book, The Winds of Winter. He revealed that Brienne of Tarth’s ancestor is Ser Duncan the Tall, the legendary seven-foot knight of Westeros.
Joffrey actually mentioned him once in Season 4, but we won’t chastise non-book readers for not being familiar with him…
As one of Westeros’ most famous knights, Ser Duncan is one of Martin’s favourite characters, with the author going as far as to say the character would be perfect for a Game of Thrones spin-off.
That just makes us want to see him on the silver screen even more…
In summary, Brienne is a tall, badass warrior because height and fighting run in the family. Is there anything else you want to know about her?
